‘A poverty strategy for Suffolk: Addressing inequalities for our communities’
The Poverty Strategy Working Group is developing ‘A poverty strategy for Suffolk’ that covers all age groups. We would like to invite stakeholders to come along to a workshop to share their experiences of what poverty means to them and the work that is ongoing throughout the county.
Workshops will be held as morning sessions with registration at 9.30am. Sessions will run from 10am to 12.30pm. Refreshments will be available on arrival (lunch is not included).
Friday 21st Nov: Rose Room, Endeavour House, Ipswich, IP1 2BX
Friday 5th Dec: Lowestoft Community Church, The Depot, 8 Hadenham Road, Lowestoft, NR33 7NF
Friday 12th Dec: Blackbourne Community Centre. Blackbourne Road, Bury St. Edmunds, IP30 9UH
Tuesday 16th Dec: Kesgrave Conference Centre, Twelve Acre Approach, Kesgrave, Ipswich, IP5 1JF
There are limited places at each workshop and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. To ensure as many organisations as possible can attend we recommend that organisations reserve one place.
To book a place please click the links above, or visit Suffolk CPD (click on Multi Agency, enter date or keyword ‘poverty’).
(If delegates are not registered with the site they will need to register as a new user which can be found on the left hand side of the screen at the bottom of the Log on section before they can book a place). Should you require assistance with registering please call CPD enquiries on 01473 260464
This will also be an opportunity for you to share your projects with other stakeholders. So please bring along any leaflets or information that will be useful to the development of the strategy.
If you are unable to attend one of the workshops but would like to contribute to the strategy you can share the work you are doing by completing this survey.
