Suffolk County Council is seeking five Trusted Partner Organisations to work with them, over the next six months, to provide some of SCC current customers with an updated Care Act, Supporting Lives Connecting Communities review and assessment.
The project is a pilot to support people requiring reviews or assessments, and how those reviews and assessments completed by a Trusted Partner organisation might benefit people, partners and Suffolk County Council.
The Council is not seeking to delegate its statutory responsibility for reviews and assessments but is interested in how the review and assessment task might potentially be completed by a Trusted Provider Organisation and signed off by a Social Care responsible manager.
This pilot project will test and evaluate that opportunity with partners with a view to whether we should develop this model further in the future.
