Are you considering Social Value in your tender applications? Do you know what it means and what your Social Value offer is? Can you show it?
Community Action Suffolk and Suffolk County Council are working in partnership this year to help the VCSE sector in Suffolk get to know and understand Social Value and ensure we demonstrate the incredible additional value our sector brings.
As part of this work, we are pleased to announce the following 3 workshops this Autumn, designed and delivered by Katrina Browning, Senior Procurement Business Partner at Suffolk County Council, specifically for those wishing to tender with SCC.
Understanding Social Value – how to map your social value offer
Social Value is a real opportunity for the not for profit sector to showcase the added value that they are able to offer. This workshop is intended for not for profit organisations who wish to tender with Suffolk County Council for contracts to deliver services. Please book early to guarantee a place. Places will be limited to one per organisation. You are welcome and are encouraged to book as a group of three organisations. So you know in advance who you will be working with in the workshop to maximise the opportunity to map your social value offer with partners who know your organisation well.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the basic principles of Social Value
- Develop your understanding regarding how to map and evidence your Social Value Offer
