‘The value of Young Trustees and how to recruit successfully‘

Join us for the first event of the week! In this free session, learn about the benefits of involving 16-30-year-olds as Young Trustees – and how to recruit successfully. From hearing how to approach this with boards and constitutions, to exploring how you can take advantage of the Young Leadership Project, this workshop will be full of crucial advice.

‘Finance Essentials for Treasurers and Trustees’
3 November 2020, 9:30am – 1:00pm
£45 for the VCSE sector
Would you like to feel more confident about financial reporting? This comprehensive course is designed to support Treasurers and Trustees in understanding financial responsibilities. From record keeping to reporting, and from the Charity Commission register to requirements, feel secure in your knowledge and enjoy training from experienced professionals.
This course is being delivered in partnership with our colleagues from Essex Rural Community Council.
Wednesday 4 November
It’s competition time!
We’re handing out places to eight lucky entrants on the ‘Introduction to Trustee Roles and Responsibilities’ course. Normally £38 per person, this highly effective introduction is an excellent way to support new and existing trustees alike. Participants will learn about their role and responsibilities in governing an effective organisation.
