This new course is for Designated Safeguarding Leads, designed in consultation with VCFSE Safeguarding Leads. It will cover the role of a Safeguarding Lead in making referrals and their involvement afterwards.
It provides a deeper and more detailed understanding of the safeguarding thresholds and MASH processes, Professional disputes and escalation, Legislation and learning from Serious Case Reviews.

You, if you Lead Safeguarding in a VCFSE organisation or group.
The training is for Designated Safeguarding Leads, Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads and Safeguarding Trustees from the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise sector only.
This may include colleagues from community groups, faith groups, housing, community development roles, sports development staff and disability specialists working in small or large organisations with children or adults at risk of abuse.
