This session will focus on how community food projects can support customers and clients during the winter period, where we will be joined by Suffolk Centres for Warmth, Eastern Saving Loans Credit Union, and Money Guiders.

Suffolk Centres for Warmth – Caroline Mackinson will share all the information about their offer and how you can access their support for your food project customers, including energy advice, understanding bills and meters, freebies, and more!

Eastern Saving Loans Credit Union – Becca Cotton will be talking about the offer from ESLCU and how this can benefit your customers who may be seeking loans during the winter period, including affordable loans and their free financial wellbeing portal.

Money Guiders – Gavin Talbot will tell us all about the free Money Guiders training that helps organisations and practitioners to talk about money with customers confidently, and offer safe, effective guidance. It aims to upskill frontline professionals who may be working with people in financial hardship but who don’t offer financial advice as part of their service to spot when someone might be struggling and help them find appropriate support.
