Community Action Suffolk is running three events across Suffolk, looking at a number of factors affecting those who work with children, young people and families. The event will repeat in this locations in June:
- Tuesday 2nd June in Bury St. Edmunds
- Friday 12th June in Ipswich
- Wednesday 17th June in Lowestoft
Do you work with children, young people and families in Suffolk?
This event will provide information on income generation, operational planning, strategic planning, new ways of working with children, young people and families, including Making Every Intervention Count, Family Focus and Signs of Safety.
Who is this event for?
- VCS groups working with children, young people and families (both new and established)
- VCS groups wanting to understand how to engage with children, young people and families
- VCS groups working with adults
What can I expect from the event?
- Understand how the VCS engages with services for children, young people and families including Making Every Intervention Count, Family Focus and Signs of Safety
- Networking opportunities with other VCS groups and statutory partners
- How to make the most of your service, e.g. business planning, partnership working, funding opportunities, etc.
- How to make your organisation safer and robust and improve the lives for children, young people and families
Lunch is included.
How do I book a place and what does it cost?
The event is fully funded and is free to attend, however a £15 admin charge may be made for non-attendance or late cancellation. Places are limited so book your place asap.
