‘Having a fulfilling job or volunteering role can be good for your mental health and general wellbeing’.
Mental health and wellbeing is important so getting the right support and skills in place to support your staff and volunteers health and wellbeing is essential. It makes a more resilient organisation too.
According to the Mental Health Foundation, ‘Good mental health at work and good management go hand in hand and there is strong evidence that workplaces with high levels of mental wellbeing are more productive. Addressing wellbeing at work increases productivity by as much as 12%‘.
Below are some online training sessions, resources and providers covering a range of health and wellbeing.
Wellbeing Suffolk provide a range of support for people with common mental health and emotional issues, such as low mood, depression or stress. We work with you to help you make the necessary changes to improve your wellbeing and quality of life. Our services are free and are available for people aged 16 or over.

MindEd is a free educational resource on children, young people, adults and older people’s mental health.
MindEd is created by a range of organisations such as HEE, Royal Colleges, Young Minds, NHS England and NHS Improvement, professional bodies and is funded by the Department of Health and Department for Education.
MindEd for older people and those who care from them has lots of content including resources to help with three issues that concern older people and those who care about them most frequently memory, sleep and loneliness.

MindEd for Families, Children and Young People has lots of content including resources to help with a chlld’s mental health and services that may be able to support.

IHASCO’s online mental health and wellbeing courses are designed to promote positive wellbeing in the workplace. These online courses are IOSH-approved and cover everything from mental health awareness to mindfulness. ‘Our courses help you protect your employees’ mental wellbeing and safely manage workplace mental health risks’.
Courses can be purchased per person or as a bundle for your organisation.
Suffolk Mind offer a number of training courses for organisations to help reduce rising stress levels, tackle anxiety and address depression – making your workplace healthier and cutting sickness absence rates.
British Red Cross’ virtual training courses are fully interactive with an expert trainer leading the course. ‘All of our courses are designed to support and promote positive mental health and wellbeing within the workplace’.
Their virtual mental health courses are offered on a group booking basis not for individuals
