Welcome to the Social Enterprise Support Project (BMS), an initiative run by Community Action Suffolk (CAS) and funded by Babergh & Mid Suffolk District Council.
The project aims to strengthen the social enterprise landscape and help celebrate their impact on communities within the Babergh & Mid Suffolk area. The project offers comprehensive support to both new and established social enterprises, enabling them to thrive and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
How We Work and the Services We Provide
- Induction and Tailored Support Plans: Initial meetings to understand the specific needs of individual enterprises followed by customised support plans.
- Workshops: Regular thematic workshops focusing on the essentials of social enterprises and ongoing business support.
- Resources: Informative resource materials like Info Sheets covering various aspects of running a social enterprise.
- Peer-to-Peer Network: Facilitation of a network for enterprises to connect, share, and grow together.
- Specialist Advice Through Partnerships: Access to networks across CAS, including access to specialist advice sessions with our Suffolk ProHelp members.
Who We Work With
- Local Social Enterprises: Both startups and established entities within the Babergh & Mid-Suffolk areas.
- If you are a Social Enterprise working outside of the BMS area, please do still get in touch and we will signpost you to support in your area.
