We are very pleased to announce the news that Community Action Suffolk and partners have been successfully invited to apply at Stage Two of the Building Better Opportunities which could bring circa £1.66million into Suffolk.
Building Better Opportunities is a project jointly funded by the Big Lottery Fund and the European Social fund, for projects across England that tackle poverty and promote social inclusion.
Over the summer months CAS will be working on the stage two application with 12 partners across Suffolk who will work with young people facing severe challenges and barriers to employment. Through the programme, young people in Suffolk will be able to actively engage with training and/or employment and contribute to the local economy whilst becoming active members of their communities, therefore reducing social exclusion.
CAS would like to take this opportunity to thank all our partners and supporting organisations for their involvement so far and look forward to developing further such a fantastic opportunity for young people in Suffolk.
