Suffolk Sport relaunched this week, 1st April, with the new name Active Suffolk.
A new brand identity has been established in order to support the organisation’s vision of improved health and wellbeing across Suffolk by inspiring everyone to be more active.
The change follows the rebrand of the County Sports Partnership Network to Active Partnerships at its recent leadership convention on the 11th March 2019.
Commenting on the new name, John Clough, Director of Active Suffolk, said “Our decision to adopt a new name reflects a number of recent changes to the sport and physical activity sector as a whole, changes to the needs of our partners and our communities and consequently, changes to the role that we play as an organisation. We look forward to continuing to develop our role and reputation as a key player in shaping the current and future provision of sport and physical activity in Suffolk under this exciting new identity”.
