A report has now been published, following the Suffolk Transformation Conference, held on 24th October 2014.
This report provides an overview of the Suffolk Transformation Conference held on Friday 24th October 2014, organised by Suffolk Congress and Community Action Suffolk and sponsored by Suffolk County Council. It presents the emerging themes, recommendations and next steps as a result of the Conference.
The concept of the Conference
The concept of the Conference was for the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) to consider its contribution to the transformation of public services within the context of reduced funding and the need for sectors to work together to meet the key issues affecting services and the people of Suffolk.
The Conference brought together over 150 delegates from the voluntary and public sectors to explore collaborative solutions to the key issues and provide recommendations on the way forward. A range of representatives from Suffolk County Council, Boroughs and Districts, Clinical Commissioning Groups, Suffolk Constabulary and Police and Crime Commissioners Office attended.
