It is Rebecca’s responsibility to promote activities in a new community hall based on a new housing development, some distance from an existing village.
Given the demographic of their catchment area, where social media seems to be the main method of communication, Rebecca has specialised in promoting the Lyons Community Centre using Facebook and Instagram.
Reaching potential hirers and building awareness for the new hall was going really well until COVID hit.
The workshop will explain how Rebecca used social media to reach out to the community, covering posting techniques and promotional activities and tips and tricks for using social media.
