Village Halls Week is taking place from Monday 20th– 26th January 2020. It is a national celebration of village halls and community buildings, their volunteers and the services they offer their communities. It is a chance to showcase your facility and a chance to attract new volunteers and share ideas for future ideas for the hall.
We have arranged a range of FREE networking lunches through the week along with a guest speaker.
Monday 20th January | Wickham Market Village Hall | 12-2pm | A talk from Sally Chicken on Community Businesses.

Tuesday 21st | Moreton Hall Community Centre | 12-2pm | A talk from Debbie Watson on Marketing strategies. |
Wednesday 22nd | The Mix, Stowmarket | 12.15-2.15pm | A talk from Dave Pepper on Youth Support. |
Thursday 23rd | Mendham and Withersdale Village Hall | 12-2.pm | A talk from Debbie Watson on Marketing Strategies. |

On the Thursday 23rd, as part of the week, it is the ‘Share Your History’ day, which is an opportunity to share your hall’s history on social media or put up old pictures or past flyers of previous events.
On Saturday 25th January it is the ‘National Open Day’. This is a good chance to open your hall or community centre to try and attract new users, trustees and groups, whilst boosting community engagement.
